2,801 Voters Cast Ballots Territorywide by Noon as USVI General Election Continues
ST. THOMAS, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — A total of 2,801 voters across the U.S. Virgin Islands had cast their ballots by noon Tuesday as residents headed to the polls for the 2026 General Election.
According to the 12:00 p.m. voter count released by Supervisor of Elections Caroline F. Fawkes, St. Croix recorded the highest turnout with 1,424 voters, followed by St. Thomas with 1,197 and St. John with 180.
The midday figures represent the number of electors who had voted across the territory as Election Day continued.
Supervisor Fawkes encouraged eligible voters who had not yet participated to make their way to the polls and exercise their right to vote.
All voting centers are scheduled to remain open until 7:00 p.m.
“Your Voice is Your Vote and Your Vote is Your Voice,” Fawkes reminded the public.
With several candidates and political teams competing in this year's election, voters still have time to make their voices heard before the polls close.
